Managing relationships with local communities

Eni is active in 71 countries around the world and wherever it operates it applies the same model of co-operation and development integrated with the needs of the country, building solid relationships and sharing development objectives with institutions and local communities. The company prides itself on promoting culture and the principles of sustainable development, encouraging joint research initiatives with prestigious universities and a number of international networks. One that deserves to be highlighted is the collaboration with the Eni Enrico Mattei Foundation, considered a world centre of excellence in the study of environmental, energy and economic issues. This not-for-profit institution, founded in 1990, carries out research in the fields of sustainable development and global governance.
