We embed Human Rights in our policies and governance processes. We value continuous engagement and training on Human Rights for our people and our Business Partners. We work with other organizations to improve our performances and promote implementation of the Business and Human Rights agenda.
The pillars of our commitment to respect Human Rights: rules, decision-making processes, awareness and collaboration
Human Rights are an integral part of our internal legal framework: in addition to dedicated guidelines, we have been integrating Human Rights into our main policies, including, but not limited to, our Code of Ethics and our Operating Instructions. Human Rights are also embedded in the Company’s governance structure and process.
We also pay special attention to communicating our commitment to respecting Human Rights: the event led by Eni’s CEO served to prove the importance of Human Rights to everyone at Eni, including Top Managers. We consider training initiatives and collaboration with institutions, organisations and NGOs as strategic enablers, given the added value they generate in raising awareness on critical topics, disseminating learnings and best practices and enhancing synergies through collaborative approaches.
