In 2014, Eni promoted an internal awareness campaign at its premises to reduce injuries to the hands, which currently account for about 30% of the total. The main causes often relate to the non-use of gloves, but not only. Other causes include carelessness, lack of concentration, fatigue, improper use of work tools, lifting weights in a careless manner, wrong priorities, too much haste and often an inadequate assessment of the dangers.
