Eni is attending the Scaleup Summit at the NASDAQ Entrepreneurial Center in San Francisco as it seeks to identify the best startups for projects working towards decarbonization and the circular economy, as part of the Open Innovation approach.
Eni is taking part in the Scaleup Summit in San Francisco on 25 and 26 September to present its approach to Digital Transformation, with a special focus on the theme of decarbonization. Eni's main goal is to identify innovative digital solutions to assist in the decarbonization process, promote cross-sector collaboration in the service of the circular economy, and to incentivise people to be environmentally sustainable in their private and working lives. The company held one-to-one meetings and panel sessions aiming at fostering dialogue between the various stakeholders in the innovative landscape of Silicon Valley. The initiative is an important opportunity to establish contact with one of the world's most flourishing digital innovation ecosystems, so that it can monitor and pick up on the most significant technological trends.
Participating in the Scaleup Summit in San Francisco is part of the Eni's broader digital transformation, as part of which the company is investing heavily in opening itself up to the external innovation ecosystem and in improving its ability to work with Italian and international start-ups and scale-ups in pursuit of the company's strategic objectives. The San Francisco Scaleup Summit is part of the Open Innovation platform devised by the international advisory firm Mind the Bridge, which Eni joined in 2019.
