Last 26th January in Kiev, Eni participated to the Regional Expert Seminar, Business Integrity in Eastern Europe and Central Asia, organized by the OECD, the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development, UNDP Ukraine and del Business Ombudsman Council.

Starting from the 5 leverages that Eni has identified to be disruptive on this
topic and coherent with this commitment: the adoption – since 2014 – of
a voluntary disclosure on payments to Governments, without waiting the entry into
the force of the European Union Directive 2013/34UE that is mandatory in Italy as
of 2017, the organizational transparency, the fiscal strategy, the Anti-Corruption
Compliance Program and the active support to the Extractive Industries Transparency
The speech was focused on the EITI in Ukraine and the role played by Eni Ukraine within the local Multi Stakeholder Group, which is committed to actively support the country to complete its EITI implementation process. Currently, Ukraine holds the status of Candidate Country. In February 2017 Ukraine will published its second EITI Report and it will we a crucial step for the Country to achieve the status of Complaint Country.
