San Donato Milanese (Milan), December 1st, 2016 –In relation to the fire that broke off today at the EST plant in the Sannazzaro de’ Burgondi refinery, Eni informs that it is completing the operations necessary to put out the latest hotbeds. The timely and effective activation of all security and prevention measures allowed for the immediate removal of all the workers that were at the plant, therefore guaranteeing the safeguard and safety of the personnel. The company takes note that the first analyses performed by the competent local authorities do not show unusual concentration of polluting substances in the air.
The causes of the fire are still being investigated. Eni will provide further details as soon as possible.

San Donato Milanese (Milan), December 1st, 2016 – In relation to the fire that erupted this afternoon at the EST plant in the Sannazzaro de’ Burgondi refinery (Pavia), Eni specifies that there was no explosion and that the fire has been significantly reduced and put totally under control, thanks to the timely intervention of Eni emergency teams and the national fire brigade.
Eni confirms that no injuries to people were registered at the plant. The company also specifies that air quality monitoring sensors are active, and that data will be shared with the competent authorities as soon as possible.
Eni immediately shut down the EST plant and isolated it from the rest of the refinery.
The causes of the fire are being investigated. Eni will share more information when available.

San Donato Milanese (Milan), December 1st, 2016 – Eni informs that a fire erupted in the EST plant of the Sannazzaro De’ Burgundi refinery (Pavia) around 4pm. The fire is currently being extinguished thanks to the timely intervention of Eni emergency team and of the firefighters of the national corps. No damage to people has been registered. The causes of the fire are being determined.
