for the Global 100 Most Sustainable Corporations in the World. Eni
is the only Italian company to feature on the index.
The index, launched in 2005 by Corporate Knights, a media, research and financial information products company devoted to quantifying and disclosing the drivers of "sustainable" capitalism, every year elects the 100 most sustainable corporations among leading companies worldwide. The corporations examined by Corporate Knights have a market capitalization of at least US$ 2 billion (as at October 1st of each year), and are evaluated according to 12 Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
