The 2016 Eni Award ceremony was held on Thursday 20 October at the Quirinale Palace and was attended by Italian President Sergio Mattarella. An interview with Giuseppe Tannoia, director of research and technological innovation at Eni, covered the ongoing development of the Eni Award, Eni’s new growth model, the value of research and the strategic importance of Africa.

Energy scenarios change, the landscape evolves, new talents emerge. The Eni Award will celebrate its 10th anniversary in 2017 with important changes to the categories and the launch of a new prize.
