Alberto Pizzolato's work involves converting sustainable energy technology into competitive products. This project involves developing computer methods to generate energy appliances with innovate designs. An approach that creates complex, highly-functioning architectures that can easily be produced through 3D printing. The existing energy technology therefore becomes more competitive in little time, allowing us to save years of research and development. Pizzolato's studio clears the path for developing intelligent metamaterial and focuses on three key technologies in the energy chain: thermal storage with phase change materials, conversion with PEM fuel cells, and distribution with networks of district heating.
This is Eni's international competition for applied energy research, launched in 2007 to find the best studies into efficiency, sustainability and environmental protection. Every year it involves the most important scientific institutions in the world and Eni's own laboratories.
