In an evolving world Oil becomes WE. The change of name for the international quarterly on the world of energy, published by Eni, broadens even more the publication’s examination of the direction of the future development of the world’s energy industry.
The latest issue of WE, titled “EU after EU”, analyzes the many different energy challenges that Europe will need to address over the coming years. It looks at decarbonization, Europe’s efforts to secure energy supplies, its relations with the world and internal balances, outlining the present and the road leading to the future of the Old Continent.
WE will also be now entrusted to a new editor, Mario Sechi, a prestigious name of Italian journalism, who, in addition to bringing consolidated experience on major national newspapers, offers the perspective of an attentive observer of the balance in world politics and economics. “To understand which way the world is heading, you need to follow energy, its vast and powerful paths, like those of the great rivers, the cradle of civilization,” commented the new editor, Mario Sechi.
WE starts from the new issue, 36, that draws up a map of the most recent major agreements affecting the world of energy and how M & A operations are redesigning the shape of the sector, along with a map of correlated economic and strategic interests.
A global mosaic made up of agreements, innovative exploration projects and the emergence of new corporate players that are putting in place a more suitable scale and technological capability to meet the challenges of the future.
