In partnership with some of the most prestigious Italian universities, Eni organises Second Level Masters in the Oil & Gas sector for the training of highly qualified professionals.
Stefano Raniolo graduated in hydraulic engineering from the University of Florence. In 2009, although he already had a job, he decided to take on a new challenge by participating in the Masters course in Petroleum Engineering & Operations. At the beginning of 2011 he was hired by Eni.
From the beginning, his work has enabled him to undertake different roles and travel frequently to attend conferences and field projects in Beijing, St Petersburg, Abu Dhabi and Alaska. Today, he is team leader of the reservoir area in Iraq.
The training programmes are the result of a desire to train our future people: we want them to be prepared, qualified and to start in class to gain the necessary knowledge to work in our company. In collaboration with the academic world we promote university masters degrees to train highly qualified professionals who are immediately able to apply the knowledge acquired to the day-to-day operational reality of the company.
