Together with the Politecnico di Torino, we train young professionals from the Oil & Gas sector to be able to immediately apply the knowledge they have acquired within the company’s operations.
The structure of the Master’s course
The 2nd level Specializing Master in Energy Engineering and Operations, promoted by Eni in partnership with the Politecnico di Torino, aims to offer training to the highest standard, specifically designed to meet the needs of our business and directly applicable to our operations. The Master’s programme has been designed to ensure that students receive an all-round vision of the world of Oil & Gas, with a specific focus on the Upstream sector and energy transition.
The study programme, which is structured on a ‘learning-by-doing’ basis, includes nine months of classroom lectures at the Politecnico di Torino, with teachers from both the university and the company. It covers case studies and seminars with managers and other experts from Eni and three months working at one of Eni’s sites in San Donato Milanese. After an initial common training period, students are divided into two specialist areas: Reservoir & Drilling and Production & Logistics. In line with the international context in which we operate, all lessons will be held in English.
Position and remuneration
For the entire duration of the Master’s course (12 months) participants will receive a gross monthly remuneration of €1,000 (for Italian nationals) or €1,300 (for non-Italian nationals). The enrollment fee for the Master’s will be paid by Eni on behalf of each participant to the Politecnico di Torino.
Award: students who complete the course with an average grade of 27/30 or above, will receive a bonus of €2,500 gross when they are hired by Eni.
Target
The 2nd level specializing Master is aimed at Level 2 graduates in one of the following subjects:
To qualify for the program, graduates will need to have achieved an average grade of not less than 100/110 or the equivalent for a foreign degree and must not have reached the age of 29 by 31 December 2019.
A certification of linguistic competence in English is also required. For full details, please refer to the announcement at the bottom of this page.
Qualification
On completion of the course students will be awarded a II level specializing Master in Energy Engineering and Operations by the Politecnico di Torino.
