The Jangkrik project represents the joint development of two gas fields - Jangkrik and Jangkrik North East, more commonly called Jangkrik Complex. The project is located within the Muara Bakau block, in the deep-water offshore Kutei basin at about 400 metres depth and 70 km off the coast of the East Kalimantan region in Indonesia.
