The Light of Congo

Congo, from field to table

Honorine Moulombo-Mambobo, a woman who lives in the District of Hinda in the Republic of the Congo, which includes a vast rural area, is talking. After attending a training course promoted by Eni and asking for advice from her classmates and teachers, she now knows how to cultivate the land. She has written out their advice – along with the various cultivation techniques – in an exercise book, which she keeps safe like a precious treasure. When she visits her plot of land with her watering can, she tends to the plants that will eventually provide her with fruit. This will go straight from field to table, providing food for her family.
