Access to water for sustainable development

Improving access to water resources is one of the goals of our sustainability projects around the world. One of the initiatives, promoted by Eni and the FAO, took place at Waru, where access to safe, clean water is provided by wells powered by solar plants, both for homes and fields. The first of these wells is part of the "Access to Water" project and sits in the heart of the community, with 18 fountains around the neighbourhood for the utmost ease of access. The 25,000 litre tank has a treatment plant using reverse osmosis, to ensure the water is drinkable.
