Share Total Return

An overview of the total annualised return and historic dividend trend. It also includes a tool for the calculation of the portfolio value.

The TSR (Total Shareholder Return, total return on the shareholder's investment) is the most complete measure of the value created by a company for its shareholders. It is calculated by adding to the increase in the price of the security, in a given range of time, the effect of dividends per share paid during the same period. Therefore the calculation of the TSR shows the annual rate of return for an investor who purchased the Eni share on X day and sold it on Y day. This calculation considers all the dividends paid by the company as if they were reinvested in the Eni share at the ex-dividend date.
