Exploration block 10 and the Villano field

Exploration and development activity under a service contract was carried in Block 10 (Eni's interest 100%) located in the eastern area of ​​the country, for a net developed area of ​​1,985 square kilometres held by Eni. Production began in the Villano oil field in 1999. Field production took place through a Central Production Facility connected by a pipeline to the storage facilities located on the Pacific coast.

In the sale of LPG, valves and regulators

We sold Liquified petroleum gas (LPG) for domestic and industrial use, guaranteeing territorial coverage to over two thousand dealers and customers and directly managing four bottling centres. The workforce was made up of 390 employees and workers. Eni Ecuador operated in the country through Esain (handling domestic marketing), Esacontrol (producing valves and regulators) and Tecnoesa (production and repair of LPG bottles) with a market share of 37.3% and was market leader in the sale of LPG in the country.
