Eni’s Business Support functions comprise a wide variety of professions throughout the organisation. Our teams cover a wide range of specialisms and have the opportunity to interact with a diverse range of operational units, leading to a strong core business and helping to maximise Eni’s productivity.

Our business support departments include:

  • Procurement
  • Marketing and communication
  • Finance
  • Governance
  • Human Resources
  • Administration
  • Legal
  • Sustainability
  • And many more

Because our people are such a valuable resource, Eni invests in their professional growth, increasing mobility. We do this through the provision of high quality training initiatives and ongoing opportunities for on-the-job learning.

Following are the main positions in the Business Support area

  • Planning and Control
Our Planning and Control colleagues prepare and consolidate Eni’s budgets. Management control activity is carried out through the measurement of designated performance indicators for periodic checks (both forecast and final) on deviations between pre-set objectives and results achieved. They communicate the data to the relevant parties in order to establish corrective actions and in doing so, interact with the line and other departments.

  • Head of Internal Auditing Activity
The Head of Internal Auditing Activity carries out internal auditing activitieswithin Eni's various companies. They analyse internal regulations, assess risks that the processes and activities may present, and provide consultancy to the organisational structures involved with the aim of keeping risks under control. Internal auditing involves the analysis of internal practices and operational workflows that may present potential malfunctioning and suggests different ways to resolve the issues. It also involves interfacing with various stakeholders to check the suitability of existing controls and shares audit results with management.
