This is why we promote the <strong>physical, psychological and social well-being</strong> of everyone who works for Eni, from employees to contract workers to suppliers, as well as the families and communities they belong to.<br>  <br> In our workplaces, we provide <strong>free screenings and check-ups</strong> and create a culture of health every day. Thanks to the conscious choices we make, this lets us promote a<strong> healthy lifestyle</strong>.<br>  <br> In all the countries we work in, we carry out projects of <strong>medical prevention</strong>. For communities that don't have access to essential treatment, we strengthen local healthcare facilities, start<strong> vaccination campaigns </strong>and train staff and the local population.</p>

Title: 02. Safety
Abstract: How we guarantee the safety of our people and plants.

Description: <p>Working in safety is crucial in order to achieve efficiency. <strong>Care for the safety</strong> of the people who work with us is a fundamental duty that we spread to our contract workers and local communities, involving them in training programmes.<br><br> This commitment is even more important given the difficult contexts in which our technicians and operators still have to work. With this in mind, we develop <strong>cutting-edge technological devices</strong> and combine them with a <b>culture of prevention</b> crucial to prevent accidents.<br><br> To manage the risk of accidents at our plants, we continue to invest in systems and skills for monitoring our facilities in Italy and abroad, improving the <strong>safety of processes</strong> and strengthening <strong>response capacity</strong> in case of emergencies.</p>

Title: 03. Environment
Abstract: How we protect the environment around us.

Description: <p>The importance and fragility of the ecosystems we come into contact with forces us to work everywhere with the utmost respect for the environment. Besides respecting Italian and international norms, we have <strong>Management System Guidelines for HSE</strong>. <br><br> To monitor and manage potential environmental risks in our work, we follow an <strong>assessment model</strong> based on six key themes: protecting biodiversity, protecting water reserves, protecting air quality, preventing oil spills, managing waste and reclaiming land.<br><br> In the most complex cases, we have our assessments on the potential impact of our high-risk activities certified, to <strong>increase observation</strong> and make sure nothing goes unseen.</p>

Title: 04. Transparency
Abstract: How we provide access to information on what we do.

Description: <p>Being transparent in what we do lets us achieve efficient governance. This is why we promote a <strong>culture of transparency</strong> in all the people who work with us, through programmes of raising awareness and constant training.<br><br> To respect Italian and international legislation, we have adopted <strong>Management System Guidelines </strong>inspired by our <strong>Code of Ethics</strong>. We publish a <strong>voluntary disclosure</strong> of our payments to the governments we work with and have signed up to the<strong> Extractive Industries Transparency Initiative (EITI). </strong><br><br> Our commitment is also proven by the<strong> transparent dialogue</strong> we have with institutions and stakeholders in the countries we work in, whether it's on defining energy policy or respect for tax legislation. </p>
