Eni Corporate University collaborates with the academic world to promote training initiatives aimed at creating highly qualified professionals to bring into Eni.
Toward this end, Eni has devised a series of projects designed to train these professionals so that they can immediately apply their newly acquired skills to the concrete operational reality of the Company.

Promoters: Eni and eni corporate university, in association with the Politecnico di Milano. Objectives: to offer international-level training on energy issues, with a specific focus on technologies for the exploration, processing, transportation, distribution and use of hydrocarbons. With this course, eni aims to train and qualify professionals for placement in company departments. Programme (the course will have a strong international content): Courses will be held the Politecnico di Milano and foreign universities (through eni scholarships), in addition to internships at eni Divisions and companies for the graduation thesis. Promoters: Eni and Eni Corporate University, in association with the Universita Cattolica del Sacro Cuore in Milan.Objectives: to provide a solid foundation in the energy-related challenges facing the economic/financial sector, with the objective of training qualified professionals for placement in departments within Eni. Programme of study: the course will have a strong international content. One term of study will be spent at the University of Texas in Austin (with an Eni study grant), and there is also a paid internship in an Eni company or division, which will serve as the basis for the student's degree thesis. Eni S.p.A. and Eni Corporate University have announced a call for applications for 2 scholarships in the field of Archival Studies, with the aim of creating highly qualified experts through participation in a project of indexing and cataloguing the company's historical documentation, and studying its cultural history. The work will be conducted, beginning in May 2006, at the Eni Historical Archive in Via Padova 5, Pomezia (Rome) under the guidance of a company tutor, who has been entrusted with designing the training programme for each intern. |

Kazakhstan-Tecnomare Project |
| In October 2004, the Kazakhstan Project was launched in collaboration with the University of Bologna on behalf of Tecnomare, an Eni subsidiary, with the aim of training young Kazakhi engineers to work with the Tecnomare Kazakhstan Branch of Aksai. Those selected undertook a training programme consisting in an intensive Italian language course, a period of classroom study in the Engineering Faculty of the University of Bologna, and an on-the-job apprenticeship period with Tecnomare Italia. The entire programme lasted about 15 months. |

Master in Dependability, Safety and Maintenance of Complex Technological Systems, Turin Politecnico |
| On behalf of Tecnomare, Eni Corporate University participated in the creation of a programme for a Master in "Dependability, Safety and Maintenance of Complex Technological Systems" at the Polytechnic of Turin, awarding 6 study grants for the first academic year (2003-2004) and 5 for the second (2004-2005). The aim was to encourage young engineering graduates to participate in this specialised Master's programme, after which they would be hired by into the Group.
