At the end of the 2008-2009 edition of the Schoolnet initiative, the 17 pupils from the II and III classes of the second level high school of Laurenzana (PZ), accompanied by their teacher and the headteacher of the school, left on 4 August to spend a week in Norway.
The trip is the prize awarded by the International jury for the excellent way in which they represented the jobs and professions of their area.
The trip to Oslo will include visits to the Viking Museum, the Museum of Folklore and the ship Fram.
The next step will be a visit to the Eni site at Sandes. Here they will meet with some of their Norwegian contemporaries for a visit to the Planetarium and the Science Factory at Sandes, the Norwegian Oil Museum in Stavanger and the Lysefjord, one of the most beautiful fjords in this area of western Norway.
The week-long trio will end with a visit to Bergen and the famous excursion "Norway in a Nutshell" which alternates boat, bus and train trips in a panoramic visit around the characteristic Norwegian fjords.
A daily diary of the trip, with photographs and video is available on www.schoolnet.eni.it
