16 September 2009 - Enterprise for Health (EfH) is a network of European companies committed to the development and spread of best practices in the field of health and wellbeing in the workplace. The network was created in 2000 in Germany, on the initiative and as the operating instrument of the European Network for Workplace Health Promotion, with contributions from the Bertelsmann Foundation and the German health insurance fund BKK. Since 2007 the network has been independent and self-supporting thanks to the contributions of members and is based in the offices of BKK in Germany.
The objectives of the EfH are to share experiences in the promotion of health, identify common lines of action, transform the management of health into a tool that supports business by reducing the costs associated with absenteeism, improve the quality of work and therefore the sustainable value of the company.
Eni has always promoted the health of its employees through the application of leading-edge methods. Joining the EfH gives Eni the advantage of being able to take advantage of the experience of others and an opportunity to exchange ideas and to develop innovative projects in this area.
