Styrenics

Styrenics

Styrenics are polymeric materials based on styrenes that are used in a very large number of sectors through a range of transformation technologies.

The most common applications are for industrial packaging and in the food industry, small and large electrical appliances, building isolation, electrical and electronic devices, household appliances, car components and toys.
Production is located in Italy, at the Mantua and Ravenna plants and abroad at Feluy in Belgium and Szazhalombatta in Hungary. Moreover, at a post-production level, the compounding unit at Settimo Milanese (MI) allows for the development of polymers and polymeric compounds to meet the specific needs of clients in terms of performance and dyeing.
ISO 9001 certification has been obtained for all production processes.
Research is concentrated at the Research Centre in Mantua that continuously updates the processes and the portfolio of products and has a secondary unit at the Ravenna plant.
The company's commitment to research can be seen from the 53 current patents, 39 of which are for products and 14 for processes.
