Compressors are machines found in any industrial plant. Wherever there is, in fact, the necessity to have compressed air or gas to operate the tools, to cool or heat, or for a multiplicity of ulterior applications.
In the compressors, the lubrication is very delicate because the compression process of a gas necessarily brings the oil to extreme conditions in terms of thermo-oxidizing stress or in terms of the behaviour when cold in the case of refrigeration compressors.
The compressor oils are, therefore, very complex products whose choice requires extensive technical knowledge and availability of high quality raw materials.
They can be made of both mineral and synthetic bases, and with different types of these bases depending on the physical-chemical properties requested by the specific application. Also in this case, Agip technical support is available to choose the most suitable product for the needs of the individual user.
On this page, information about only a few of our lubricants can be found; for information about other products or for more details, it is possible to refer to Eni's R&M Division commercial structure in your geographic area.
