Following the integration of Italgas Piu' with the Eni Gas & Power Division, Eni has launched an ambitious project to raise the profile of its franchising network, reaching more than 1.2 million users by 2011.
Rome , 6 November 2008 - More than 200 Eni Energy Stores will offer households a broad range of services, from the installation and maintenance of heating, cooking and air-conditioning systems, to professional support for the activation of new gas and electricity offers, as well as personalised advice to help families achieve savings through improved energy efficiency.
Following the integration of Italgas Piu with the Eni Gas & Power Division, Eni has launched an ambitious project to raise the profile of its franchising network with the opening, over the next few days, of its new Eni Energy Stores. In addition to providing a direct point of contact with users, the stores will make a significant contribution to the attainment of Eni's growth targets on the retail electricity market, reaching more than 1.2 million users by 2011.
Services for users will be provided by experienced professionals and local companies with full certification in order to guarantee outstanding service quality and safety.
Over the next few years, the number of Eni Energy Stores will increase from 200 today to approximately 400, covering almost every Italian province as well as locations where Eni has not been a gas provider historically.
The choice of the franchising business model is a solution which enables Eni to support clients who want an in-store service, as opposed to interactions via the telephone or web, while maintaining the same service standards.
