CEO Eni Paolo Scaroni and Eni E&P COO Claudio Descalzi are flying to Pakistan in the next hours to meet the colleagues of Eni employed in the Country. Further details on the accident will be provided after necessary checks with Pakistani authorities.

San Donato Milanese (Mi), 5 November 2010 - Eni confirms that a JS Chartered aircraft crashed near Central Ordinance Depot, Cantonment area immediately after taking off from Karachi’s Jinnah International Airport at 7.25 AM today November 05, 2010. The flight was destined for the Bhit gas field in Jamshoro district, Sindh province.
Aircraft was carrying 21 passengers including 3 crew members, 1 Airport Security Force personnel, 15 Eni employees and two Contractor’s employees. There are no reports of any survivors.
