Celebrate the transition of students from an excellent post-graduate training programme to career was the goal of the meeting that was held on June 21, 2012, in San Donato Milanese. The Chief Operations Officer of Eni Corporate, Salvatore Sardo, attended the event and recalled the international vocation of Eni and the Master MEDEA (TAB aperto The Master) values. Michele Polo, Eni Chair in Energy Markets at Bocconi University, presented a detailed report entitled "The European gas markets: inheritance and perspectives".
The training programme that students have successfully completed is the Master MEDEA, Master in Energy and Environmental Economics and Management, organized by the Scuola Enrico Mattei of Eni Corporate University. The Master was attended by forty-five students coming from thirteen countries: Algeria, Angola, Australia, Ecuador, Gabon, Indonesia, Italy, Kazakhstan, Nigeria, Pakistan, Russia, Tunisia, Turkmenistan. Each student attended about forty courses. Moreover, this ambitious and challenging training programme was enriched by research projects as well as by conferences and seminars, proposed by prominent personalities of the cultural landscape.
Such a training experience reflects the international scope and interdisciplinarity of the School founded by Enrico Mattei fifty-five years ago. Different skills, heterogeneous approaches to work and study, often quite distant traditions and points of view that contribute to the students' personal and professional growth.
