«Eni has signed an agreement with the government of the republic of Congo for the exploitation of non-conventional oils in bituminous sands at Tchikatanga and Tchikatanga-Makola, two areas of a total of 1790 square kilometres.
"The Eni model integrates the traditional business of the exploration and production of hydrocarbons with sustainability activities in the territory and important initiatives in the non-conventional oils and renewable energy sectors." Over the four-year period, 2008-2011, Eni will invest $3 billon in the African country.»
