Risk Management

The main risks that the Company is facing and actively monitoring and managing are:

• the market risk deriving from exposure to fluctuations in interest rates, foreign currency exchange rates and commodity prices;
• the credit risk deriving from the possible default of a counterparty;
• the liquidity risk deriving from the risk that suitable sources of funding for the Group's operations
  may not be available;
• the country risk in the upstream business;
• the operational risk;
• risks associated with the current downturn in the Natural gas market;
• the specific risks deriving from exploration and production activities; 
• the risks associated with the cyclicality of the oil and gas sector. 

Financial risks are managed in respect of guidelines defined by the parent company, targeting to align and coordinate Group companies policies on financial risks.
