Following the highly successful exhibition at Palazzo Marino, the painting comes to Rome thanks to the Eni-Louvre partnership agreement and the sponsorship of the Presidency of the Council of Ministers. The initiative is promoted by the Ministry of Culture and by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
The painting will be part of the exhibition ‘Power and Grace’ from January 1 to 31, 2010, and admission will be free for the occasion.

The license has been awarded to an Eni-led consortium (with Eni as Operator), consisting of the US Occidental Petroleum Corporation and Korea Gaz Corporation.
Eni is the Mécène Principal of the exhibition, “Titian, Tintoretto, Véronèse...Rivalités à Venise”, from 17 September 2009 to 4 January 2010.
Eni’s support of the exhibition provides a further example of the company’s commitment to the promotion of Italian cultural heritage in France following the successful “Mantegna” exhibition last year.
