Treasury Shares

On 29 October, the deadline for the authorization required by the Shareholders’ Meeting pursuant to the resolution of 29 April 2008 - in relation to the acquisition of own shares – expired. On the same date, a total of 398,466,853 own shares, equal to 9.95% of the share capital, were acquired for a total of circa 6.97 billion Euro.
The own shares in the portfolio amount 382,863,733 and are equal to 9.56% of the share capital.
