Roberto Poli, Chairman of the Board

Born in 1938.

He has been Chairman of the Board of Eni S.p.A. since May 2002.

He is President of Poli e Associati S.p.A., a consultancy firm for corporate finance, mergers, acquisitions and reorganisations.
He is currently Director of Mondadori S.p.A., Fininvest S.p.A., Coesia S.p.A., Maire Tecnimont S.p.A. and Perennius Capital Partners SGR S.p.A.
From 1966 to 1998 he was professor of corporate finance at the Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore, Milan.

He has been an advisor for extraordinary finance transactions for some of Italy's leading industrial groups.

He has been Chairman of Rizzoli-Corriere della Sera S.p.A. and Publitalia S.p.A.
