In November 2010, as markets are becoming more interrelated, liquid and volatile, Eni announced the integration of its gas, power and emissions trading activities into ETS. Therefore allowing ETS to leverage Eni's unique position as a leading gas player in Europe and creating a single centre for trading and commodities risk management.
The integration of gas, power and emissions provides ETS with an extraordinary boost to develop a strong view on the market contributing to the optimisation of Eni's assets and supporting strategic decisions.
