Tecnomare HSE Projects Area is able to offer a wide range of services in HSE-Q:
Engineering projects for Oil & Gas developments are related to feasibility studies, basic engineering and FEED, detailed engineering, construction supervision, marine operations and plant start-ups. The Life-Cycle approach used by Tecnomare in engineering projects for new developments facilitates the optimisation of investments by oil companies through the identification and development of solutions that maximise the economic return, even in unconventional and challenging contexts.
Tecnomare is also able to provide project management services, assisting oil companies in the management of executive contracts. It can also arrange the turnkey supply of systems and components, handling construction and installation phases in collaboration with selected and qualified international companies.
To ensure consistency of execution and due consideration of specific geographic features, the project area is structured geographically. There are two main macro project areas, one for projects in North Africa, Central Asia, Russia and Australasia, and the other in Europe, the Americas and sub-Saharan Africa. The two structures rely on centralised services for planning, document management, the monitoring and control of activities designed to ensure that the timing, cost and quality of the services provided comply fully with the contract requirements and to guarantee customer satisfaction.
Tecnomare’s project management experience and skills, also on large-scale projects, are widely recognized and proven by numerous production plants and oil platforms made with Tecnomare engineering over more than 40 years.
Tecnomare is involved in the consolidation and enhancement of skills in innovative technologies in the field of exploration, production and transport of oil and natural gas.
Tecnomare is fully involved in the process of knowledge and the selection of technologies required by Eni E&P for the exploitation of oil resources.
Tecnomare has been involved for many years in the development of systems for application in fields such as space exploration and scientific environmental monitoring in deep waters and underground in extreme environmental conditions. These experiences contribute to the continuous updating of technical knowledge and create opportunities for the transfer of technology and design approaches to oil & gas applications.
Tecnomare contributes to the challenges of the oil industry with the use of innovative technologies to improve safety, costs and "time to market" activities for the exploration and development of petroleum reservoirs, with specific skills in the phases of conceptual study, design, construction and integration of systems in the following areas:
- HSE (technologies for the monitoring of meteo-marine, environmental , geophysical, geochemical and structural parameters)
- Exploration (deep-water applications)
- Drilling (safety systems and monitoring)
- Upstream facilities (validation of new technologies to be field applied, ultra-deep water, completion systems - innovative Xtrees)
- Production (asset integrity, maintenance optimisation)
The engineering area develops and offers complex solutions in the Oil & Gas sector, in particular for upstream hydrocarbon production plants.
The company’s expertise ranges from the design of onshore and offshore plants, subsea developments and floating production systems to subsea/terrestrial pipelines and mooring and loading points. Special emphasis is given to offshore engineering, where Tecnomare has developed a 40-years experience background in structures, naval and plants engineering disciplines, for platforms and floating production systems designed and installed in the Mediterranean Sea, the North Sea, West Africa, South America, the Persian Gulf, Australia, etc.
Tecnomare is also widely recognised for its excellence in the provision of engineering services for the oil industry thanks to a broad range of skills including the design of new systems, the re-vamping/requalification of existing systems, as well as the optimisation of production processes and support in construction and installation, aiming at the obtainment of the certifications by international Certified Authorities.
