The Eni Corporate fond contain all the documents relating to Eni and its subsidiary and associated companies. The 17,400 units of archive material cover a period from the 1920s (including papers relating to the question of war damages and the business activities of Aipa) up until the present day. The bulk of the material relates to Eni, including Sicea and Enidata, but there are also documents and the company's books relating to Aedes Rustica, Agip Nucleare, Anic, Ars, Consorzio Dataeco, Infosied, Indeni, Rosabel, Saip/Saipem, Sife, Sime and Tema.
The most historically and culturally interesting documents relate to Eni, including papers from the secretary's office of the various chairmen, beginning with Enrico Mattei, the company's books, the financial statements of Eni and its subsidiaries, different material produced by various departments and, in particular, by the foreign department, the external relations department and the company secretary's office. There is also a collection of transcripts of around 80 oral interviews with high-level company executives in the Eni Group, politicians and other important figures linked to Enrico Mattei. The tapes were made in the 1980s under the supervision of the Historical Archives.
