19th Festival of African, Asian and Latin American Cinema

19th Festival of African, Asian and Latin American Cinema

Eni is the main partner of this even that will take place in Milan from 23 to 29 March.

An important occasion for Eni to confirm its continuing support for arts and culture in an ideal context for the awareness and promotion of dialogue between different cultures.

The programme of the 19th Festival of African, Asian and Latin American Cinema will once again feature the usual 2 competitive sections – The “Window on the World‘ competition, open to full-length features and documentaries from Africa, Asia and Latin America and three competitions dedicated exclusively to Africa: the Best African Film, and competitions for the best short film and best documentary.

Eni offers a prize for the full-length feature in the “Window on the World‘ category and the competition for African short films.

The Festival is a now well established appointment for fans oof the cinema from the south of the world, it is also the only festival in Italy that is entirely dedicated to the cinema, the reality and the cultures of the countries of Africa, Asia and Latin America.
Over 50 countries are represented, with around 80 films and videos being projected.

A great new feature: a meeting place for the Festival guests and public, a crossroads of multicultural events and moments of relaxation between films

The awards ceremony took place Saturday 28th March in the presence of the local authorities.
